Arjun Kapoor made his big Bollywood debut in Yash Raj Film' 'Ishaqzaade' alongside co-star Parineeti Chopra. The two with their sizzling chemistry sure had the audience off their feets, and now the two are all set to reunite for Dibakar Banerjee's directorial titled 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar'. It has been five years since 'Ishaqzaade' released and the friendship that Arjun and Parineeti share is still intact.
Just like 'Ishaqzaade', 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' will also see Arjun and Parineeti share a love-hate relationship. Unlike their on-screen portrayals, Arjun reveals that he shares a very special relationship with Parineeti as she was his first co-star.
Talking about the same, Arjun said, "Parineeti saw me at my most vulnerable time. Both of us were still figuring out who we were, more as human beings than actors. We spent a lot of time talking, we shared our vanity van, and often discussed how we didn't know what lay ahead. We spoke about our insecurities with each other, and knew we'd always be there for one other."
The actor further went on to say that there couldn't be a better film to reunite with the actress. Arjun further added, "Dibakar is unique, and a fantastic director. The script excites Parineeti and me." The film is a story about a man and woman who represent two different Indian mindsets, and it is their suspicion for each other that brings them together.
