Anushka Sharma is currently enjoying a much-deserved break post the success of her last on-screen outing 'Phillauri'. Anushka who was seen playing a friendly ghost in her last film will soon begin working on her next production, 'Pari'. The first co-production under the banner of Clean Slate Films, Anushka will be seen collaborating with Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor's KriArj Entertainment for the project.
After having worked with Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh for 'Phillauri', Anushka will be seen with Bengali superstar Parambrata Chatterjee in 'Pari'. This project will be helmed by the debutant director Prosit Roy.
Talking about the project, Anushka revealed, "We have gone by instinct in choosing good cinema, and the audiences have liked both our films. 'Pari' is a strong, engaging story and our team is brilliant. It's the kind of project that I love producing and delivering to audiences."
Parambrata, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Kahaani' will be seen in a Bollywood film after a long time. Talking about 'Pari', Parambrata added, "The script of Pari worked for me immediately. Anushka is a brilliant actor and a superstar. Working on this film will be an enriching experience."
Co-produced by Clean Slate Films and KriArj Entertainment along with Kyta Productions, 'Pari' is all set to go on floors this June.
