Alankrita happens to be the most recent filmmaker to join the list of controversial directors. The director who helmed the film 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' had to endure endless amounts of troubles before her film was finally released in the country. The 'lady-oriented' film had its fair share of battles with the board that even refused to certify the film for its content that was laced with sexual scenes and abusive words, apart from other things. But once the film was released it received a good response, and garnered praise from the audience and critics.
