Talking about his childhood, Shah Rukh opened the struggles that his family faced, the loss of his parent and how he grew up post the incident.
After having done 50 films and about 200 Bollywood songs, Shah Rukh felt that he had arrived. The actor was conferred with highest civilian honour by the Malaysian and French government. The actor opened up about how having achieved so much affected him, and he like humanity flew off the handle.
The actor further explained how the arrival of the Internet affected him and his career. The actor said that everything he said and tweeted took a new meaning. He was judged constantly for the things that he said and sometimes, for those he didn't!
Talking about his identity as 'Badshah of Bollywood' and 'King of Romance', SRK imparted that how despite being called out for his unconventional looks, he became the most-loved hero of the country. The actor expounded that how people of India have taught him one of the most important values in the world, love.
The actor also spoke about how essential the power of love is, and it is this power that can change the world!
Concluding his maiden TED Talk Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the concept of the future you, and why must one be irrevocably and selflessly in love with oneself.
