Shah Rukh Khan attends the mahurat shot of 'Ittefaq'

A remake of the classic 1969 film starring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Bindu, Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer 'Ittefaq' went on floors today. Helmed by Abhay Chopra, the sets had a special visitor dropping in for the mahurat shot. Shah Rukh Khan, whose production company, Red Chillies Entertainment also happens to be the co-producers of the film attended the mahurat shot for the same.
Shah Rukh Khan who was visibly happy to be on the sets later in the day took to his social media to express his joy. The actor also revealed that 'Ittefaq' was one of his favourite movies by Yash Chopra. The actor further added that B.R.Chopra Films and Dharma Productions have a tie-up with Red Chillies Entertainment.
Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment have previously collaborated for films like 'My Name is Khan', 'Dear Zindagi', and now, 'Ittefaq'. Directed by Abhay Chopra, 'Ittefaq' is a recreation of the 1969 film with the same name.
