Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Rangoon' is soon to hit theatres on February 24, and the team is going all out to promote the film. Set with a backdrop of the World War II, the film is ace director Vishal Bhardwaj's take on 1942 romantic drama 'Casablanca'. The story is a love triangle between Kangana, Saif, and Shahid.
Since 'Rangoon' is a period drama, major portions of the film had to be shot in the hostile terrains of North East. The crew found it really hard to shoot in the hostile conditions, however, since Kangana is a mountain girl, it was rather easy for her to adapt to the surroundings. Talking about the same to a leading tabloid, Kangana said, "
Initially, it was a bit taxing because I was suddenly taken from an urban location to an extremely remote location with no network. But, gradually, it became a lot easier since I am a mountain girl. But Shahid would often freak out."
The crew had to live in little makeshift cottages as they were shooting in remote areas. And so Shahid and Kangana had to share their cottages with their respective teams. Talking about shooting with Shahid, Kangana was all laughs as she spoke about her experience of staying in a cottage that was right beside Shahid. She said, "
We were shooting in a remote location where a little makeshift cottage was erected. Shahid and I were sharing the cottages with our respective teams. Every morning, I would wake up to this mad hip-hop music. And he would exercise listening to crazy trance and techno songs blasting from the speakers. I was fed up and wanted to shift out. Sharing the cottage with Shahid was a nightmare."
Well, Kangana is known for her foot-in-mouth comments, but the 'Queen' actress is not reluctant to state what's on her mind. While there were reports that Shahid and Kangana don't go along well, both of them have denied the news and maintain that they share a cordial relation. (Also Read:
