Anushka Sharma joined hands with brother, Karnesh to dabble into film production, and the first in line for the two was 'NH10'. Clean Slate Films - Anushka's production house is all set to release its second film, 'Phillauri', next year. 'Phillauri' will introduce a fresh pairing of Anushka and Diljit Dosanjh. But even before 'Phillauri' releases, Anushka already knows which film she will be producing next.
Early this year reports suggested that post 'Phillauri', Anushka has a third film in line titled 'Kaneda'. Talking about the same, a source revealed, "Anushka will be part of ‘Kaneda’. She will produce and act in the film. We are in talks with Arjun Kapoor." Apparently, Anushka had approached Arjun with the script, and the actor has given a nod for the film. The title of the film is inspired from the Punjabi pronunciation of the country, Canada.
However, an official announcement was awaited from the actress on the same. And now speaking to a leading daily, Anushka has finally confirmed the news. Not revealing much, Anushka said, "
We are going to make an announcement soon. And yes, I will be acting in 'Kaneda'!"
