Aamir Khan turned 52 yesterday and celebrated his birthday with close friends and family. On his birthday, Aamir started his day with a small celebration and interaction with the media. The actor, in the press conference, opened up about varied subjects that ranged from his friendship with Shah Rukh Khan to his next 'Thugs Of Hindostan'. The actor also spoke about nepotism in the Bollywood industry, and his take on not attending the awards shows.
Not only did the actor clarify rumours of not signing the Rakesh Sharma biopic, but also spoke about working with Amitabh Bachchan. When asked about 'Thugs Of Hindostan', the actor spoke highly about working with Big B. Aamir said, "This year, I am excited about one thing. I have been a huge fan of Amit Ji all my life. It is the first time I am getting a chance to work with him. The kind of person he is, I feel I would get to learn a lot from him and it would be an amazing experience. Hence, I am very excited and looking forward to it."
'Thugs Of Hindostan' is a film worth looking forward to not only because it has a stellar star cast, but also because according to reports on a leading online portal, Amitabh Bachchan is to play Aamir's father in the film. Aamir and Big B will be seen playing a father-son duo in the film, and the film is based on the lives of pirates. However, not much has been revealed about the plot of the film.
To be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film goes on floors by July. However, the makers are yet to finalise on the leading lady of the film.
