We will soon be spotting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the upcoming film 'Fanney Khan'. And while the actress has been busy tending to motherly duties, she has made it rather clear that she wants to come back to the big screen, one movie at a time. And due to this dedication of hers, producer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has offered the actress a chunkier and bigger role in the upcoming film.
A source close to the film said, “She now has a far more important role than the actress who played her part in the original film". 'Fanney Khan' is an official Indian remake of the Dutch film 'Everybody’s Famous' and Aishwarya has just received a bigger role than the one played by the actress in the original movie. She will be playing the part of a superstar singer and the actress even has four songs which she will sing herself for the first time!
The source even added, "She is all there for Aaradhya. She drops and picks her up from school every day. But otherwise, she focuses completely on her work and allows no distractions. Only calls from home are taken when she is on the sets". The actress herself said, "I was very sure that whenever I decided to work after my daughter’s birth, it would have to be only when I can concentrate fully on my work. I didn’t want to be distracted or divided. It’s always a hundred percent of me in whatever I do".
Aishwarya also mentioned that she will do only one film at a time. “Because that’s about all I can do justice to, given my priority is my daughter", she said. The actress has even been dedicating a lot of time to her mother after the death of her father. Many filmmakers have turned away from the actress considering her limited time allotted to acting but the starlet is now seriously considering projects with Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar and Gauri Shinde and we can't wait to spot more of this beauty on our screens!
