After all, not only does it impart an amazing flavour to your food but it also contains a plethora of health benefits? But were you aware that ginger could also be used on your hair and your skin? Yes, that's right, you can opt for DIYs for your skin and hair by incorporating ginger in them and let's just say they will work wonders for you. So, here are a few ways in which you can use ginger on your hair and skin. Take a look.
02/5Massage oil for skin
Want to massage your skin? Opt for this concoction! You'll need 2 tbsps of finely chopped ginger, a handful of dried rose petals and 1 cup of almond oil. Mix these ingredients and store them in a jar for a week. Then heat this oil, strain it and store the remaining oil for use. Apply it whenever you want and give your skin the massage it needs.

Ginger can help boost hair growth and can increase blood circulation in your scalp to make your hair even stronger. For this serum, you'll need some ginger - chopped into fine pieces, a quarter cup of water, 1 tbsp of castor oil and 1 tbsp of olive oil. First, blend the ginger and water together and then strain the mixture using a cheesecloth. Once done, add the castor oil and olive oil to the remaining watery juice. Mix the ingredients well and transfer into a spray bottle. Whenever you want to use it just spray the serum onto your scalp and let it sit for 30-45 minutes before rinsing it off.

Make a ginger scrub using these ingredients - 2 tbsp of olive oil, 3 tbsp of brown sugar and some ginger paste. Mix these ingredients well to make a paste and then apply this paste all over your face. Gently rub it on your face in circular motions for about a minute and then wash off the paste with lukewarm water.

If you want to give your skin the glow it needs, all you need to do is opt for some ginger. You'll need some ginger - chopped into tiny pieces, half a cup of water and 2 tbsp of raw honey. Mix all these ingredients well to make a paste and then apply the paste to your face. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
