But here’s a fact which we think will help change that. Food cravings have a strong link to nutritional deficiencies, imbalance and dehydration. Meaning, every time you crave something unhealthy, your body is actually signalling about the lack of a certain nutrients, and thankfully we have healthy options for that. Ahead are a few tips that will help you win over your food cravings!

This means that you are craving for Saturated and trans-fats.
But your body needs Calcium and healthy fat.
If you’re constantly craving for deep fried food it means that you have a fatty acid deficiency. But all that fried goodness are basically empty calories and are doing no good for your body. However, you can curb the urge by introducing rich sources of calcium and healthy fats. Think ghee, avocado, salmon, tofu, , and flaxseeds.

If you are craving for a night of Netflix and bag of chips, you want that salty goodness in your life. This usually means your body is going through an imbalance of electrolyte, stress or extreme dehydration. Our body usually craves salt when it is stressed. But don’t give into those cravings. While there isn’t anything wrong with having carbs, having loads of it is an issue.
