It's no secret that the lockdown has caused everyone to stay indoors to keep themselves safe. And people are only allowed to step out for basic necessities. While people are doing their best to stay occupied during this trying time, we can all agree that chores can get to be a tad bit boring after a while. That's why you need something to help you relax and rejuvinate along the way. And what better than some skincare and beauty TLC?
From a body massage to a facial to a fun hair spa session, there are so many things you can opt for. But we all have to agree that if there's one thing that can truly help you relax while also giving your skin a beautiful glow, it has to be a sheet mask. Enriched with vitamins and nourishing properties, sheet masks can work wonders for your skin. However, with the lockdown in force, we're sure you can't just step out to go buy a sheet mask. So, what should you do? Make your own sheet mask, of course! Here's how you can do it.
-Start with finding a muslin-cotton cloth for your face. Using an eyebrow pencil, mark the places where your eyes, nose and mouth are.
-Use a scissor to cut out the places that you've marked so that your eyes, nose and mouth are free while the rest of your face can soak in the goodness of the mask.
-Take a bowl and add all the ingredients you want in your mask. For example, you can add some brewed green tea and a scoop of honey as well as some of your moisturising cream Mix these ingredients well and then place your mask in the mixture.
-Let your mask sit in this mixture for a few minutes and then remove it from the bowl and give it a gentle squeeze to get rid of excess product.
-Now., place the mask on your face, sit back and relax for a good 15-20 minutes while your face absorbs all the essential goodness from the mask.
-Take the mask off and rinse your face if there's any product remaining on it. Toss your mask in the wash so that you can reuse it again.
Well, try this out for yourself and see how well it works. Stay tuned for more updates.
