One thing that’s assured post red carpet events is our Instagram walls being flooded with some great looks (making us all super jealous, of course). And this year we came across that happening a lot! In regards to fashion, other than some major trends picking up, 2017 was host to several amazing red carpet looks. From feathery ensembles to glittering gold ones and more, the red carpets were flooded with looks to love. And as the year comes to an end, here’s looking back at 8 of our favourite red carpet looks this year. 2018 is going to have a tough time following this…
02/9Alia Bhatt, Award show
Styled by Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, Alia looked stunning in her Zuhair Murad studded gown. Featuring an embellished bodice as also a sweetheart neckline, the floor-grazing gown fell rhythmically on the actress. With her hair slicked back in a low ponytail she put on display her chiselled features too. If nothing this gown is unmissable!

Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, Deepika donned a one-shouldered sheer gown in a deep gem-toned maroon, almost bordering black. The sheer gown was layered over a embroidered bodysuit The dress aptly put on display Deepika’s long and sexy legs. Her red lips too, took our breaths away. Just look at her…doesn’t she look absolutely stunning?

In a Falguni & Shane Peacock number, Disha Patani rocked her look. The strapless outfit hung close to every curve of Disha’s and the high slit lent sexiness to the overall look. The beaded gown made for a very glam look on Disha and she pulled off the risky number effortlessly. By doing away with bold baubles, she even balanced it out to perfection.

Jacqueline made heads turn in this one-side-shouldered gown. The all-over embroidered dress as also the train made for a very regal look. Tanya Ghavri did a great job at styling this beauty and the diva looked all things amazing in her red carpet outfit. There is nothing we’d change about this look of hers!

Katrina stole our hearts in her Ziad Nakad number. The actress’ floor-grazing gown made her look straight out of a fairytale and the shimmery accents lent that much-needed bling to the subdued colour. In the dress that featured a plunging neckline, Katrina looked her absolutely stunning self. But now we don’t expect anything other than perfection from her, do we?
07/9Kriti Sanon, Award show
Styled by her trusted Sukriti Grover, Kriti worked a Roberto Cavalli gown in gold. In the Aurelle number she looked nothing short of a style goddess. The gold detailing and the sheer hem won our hearts and we love how Kriti chose to go with her hair in an up-do thus not distracting from the scintillating number in the slightest.
08/9Priyanka Chopra, Emmys
The actress outdid even herself on the red carpet of the 69th Emmy Awards 2017. Styled by Cristina Ehrlich, Priyanka worked a white custom-made gown with the chicest feather-hem detailing. The figure-hugging piece made for a very sophisticated look and Priyanka's makeup helped add that mysterious vibe to her overall look. Those purple smokey eyes and the berry pout…just wow!
09/9Sonam Kapoor, Cannes
Styled by her sister and all-time stylist Rhea Kapoor, Sonam donned a custom Elie Saab number. The gown featured a daring neckline and accented floor-weeping sleeves. Sonam put her lean build on display in the dress and looked gorgeous. Yet again, this fashionista proved that she can slay any red carpet look in glam style. That shade of pink is the chicest ever!
