The Met Gala is probably one event that actually demands extravagance and an element of avant-garde. With this year’s the of ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ celebrities went all out and about with their extra-AF outfits. Much like the outfits, there was a high dosage of ‘extra’ in many makeup looks as well. So it is time, stopped gaping over the looks (for just a bit) so that we point our eyes out the amazing makeup looks celebs sported at the Met Red carpet. Read on.
02/6Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Priyanka Chopra Jonas had no qualms dialing up the crazy. It began with a messy afro. But that was not all. Blush was bright hue of deep purple and generously applied, which went well with her lightened eyebrows, purple smokey (with eyes lined with a thick white line) and a purple pout. The sparkling bindi was just the cherry on top!
03/6Lady Gaga
With as much as four outfits and an epic red carpet walk that showcased it, we won’t blame you in case you missed Lady Gaga’s equally epic makeup look. With thickly lined doll-like eyes and hot pink pout, Lady Gaga clipped on some golden false lashes to make Barbie-esque makeup Camp-worthy.We’re obsessed!
04/6Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid chose a shimmery gold and silver jumpsuit with a matching head gear for the main event. To make her pasted on white and silver lashes stand out ( which were gloriously beautiful) she put on a nude lippie and subtle contour to go with it. We can’t event!
05/6Kim Kardashian
In the first look, Kim Kardashian’s bronzy makeup look may come across as meh, but a deeper look into it proves that it is anything but it. Her ‘wet look’ Mutler dresses demanded a look that had a high-shine that looked glossy and looked wet- Kim’s Met makeup look was all of it!
06/6Ezra Miller
The Perks of Being A Wallflower actor is well-known for his sartorial sensibilities. But his Met look, blew us all away! The actor walked in with a mask in hand and five other eyes drawn in with makeup on his face. Insane, right? But so is the annual theme of Camp!
