You remember the scene when Salman and Madhuri AKA Prem and Nisha first met in the film? Just to recall, Prem and Nisha's first meeting is unlike any other love story. They first met when Prem goes to Ramtedki with uncle Kailashnath (Alok Nath) and brother Rajesh (Mohnish Behl) to ask for Pooja's (Renuka Shahane) hand in marriage.

I am sure you must have heard the quote - 'I may fight with my sibling. But once you lay a finger on them, you will be facing me'. The film throughout its course talks about the relationship siblings share and the sacrifices they make for each other. The relationship between the siblings is truly heartwarming!

While the film is Prem and Nisha's love story, there is another brewing romance that you cannot miss! Anupam Kher and Reema Lagoo's moment of romance in the film do not go unnoticed. These moments further define that romance has no age bar.
07/11Dialogues are too clichéd, why not sing?
Not many know, but 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!' is a musical. The film had a total number of 14 songs, however, between the scenes the songs flowed in with utmost ease not making the film boring at even one point.
08/11Parents don’t always understand you
The film just crashed the notion that our 'parents understand us better'. Throughout the film not even once did Reema Lagoo, Anupam Kher or Alok Nath realise that there was a romance brewing between Nisha and Prem. Not once, I tell you.
09/11Friendships last longer if you turn them into a relationship
Friendships today may be fickle, but our ancestors were better at keeping relationships. In years gone past, it was a rather common practice to get your child married to a friend's child.
10/11Be careful while running up and down the stairs
Be careful while on the stairs is the most important lesson I learnt from the film. After watching the film, never have I ran on the stairs just so I don't slip and fall and end up losing my life just like Pooja (Renuka Sahane) did while she was going to attend a phone call. Accident prone area, be careful!
