02/11Rang Barse – Silsila
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha and Sanjeev Kumar. Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Shashi Kapoor make a Dynamic Guest Appearance in the film. The movie is said to be loosely inspired by the alleged real-life love triangle of its three stars, Amitabh-Jaya-Rekha, the most talked about love affair back then. ‘Rang Barse Bhige Chunar Wali’ is a popular 1981 Bollywood number from Amitabh Bachchan. The song, which is said to be one of India’s best-known folk songs, has been composed by Shiv-Hari, while the lyric has been penned by poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. ‘Rang Barse Bhige Chunar Wali’ still remains one of the most popular songs played on the occasion of festival Holi in North India.
03/11Holi ke Din – Sholay
R. D. Burman composed the film's music, and the lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi. The songs used in the film, and released on the original soundtrack. The film was loosely styled after Akira Kurosawa's 1954 film Seven Samurai, and is a defining example of the Dacoit Western film, combining the conventions of Indian dacoit films, especially Mehboob Khan's Mother India (1957) and Dilip Kumar's Gunga Jumna (1961), with that of Westerns, especially Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Westerns such as Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) as well as The Magnificent Seven (1960). It also some plot elements borrowed from the Indian films Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971) and Khote Sikkay (1973). A scene depicting an attempted train robbery was inspired by a similar scene in Gunga Jumna, and has also been compared to a similar scene in North West Frontier (1959). A scene showing the massacre of Thakur's family has been compared with the massacre of the McBain family in Once Upon a Time in the West. Sholay may have also been influenced by Sam Peckinpah's Westerns, such as The Wild Bunch (1969) and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973), and George Roy Hill's Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969).
04/11Aaj na Chhodenge – Kati Patang
Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar. Rajesh Khanna, Asha Parekh, Prem Chopra, Bindu. The film is among the 17 consecutive hits of Khanna between 1969 and 1971 and is the second of four films in which he was paired with Parekh. The film was the second in a string of nine movies in which Samanta and Khanna collaborated. The music was composed by R.D. Burman and was a huge hit. "Ye Shaam Masthani" and "Pyar Deewana Hota Hein", sung by Kishore Kumar were particularly famous. The performance of Asha Parekh and Rajesh Khanna were praised by the audience and critics alike. The movie is based on Madhavi "Madhu" (Asha Parekh) is an orphan living with her maternal uncle, who arranges her marriage with someone she does not know. Blinded in love with Kailash (Prem Chopra), she runs away on the day of the marriage. She discovers Kailash in the arms of Shabnam (Bindu). Heartbroken and dejected, she returns to her uncle, who had committed suicide from the humiliation. Realising that she has no one in life, Madhavi decides to leave town and head somewhere. She meets her childhood friend Poonam, who tells her about her husband's untimely demise in an accident and that she is on her way, along with her baby boy Munna, to stay with her in-laws whom she has never met before. Poonam manages to compel Madhu to accompany her as her plight is pitiful.

Amitabh Bachchan-Hema Malini starrer Baghban’s song Hori Khele Raghuveera Aadesh Shrivastava is composed by Aadesh Shrivastav, while the lyrics are penned by Sameer. The song was sung by Alka Yagnik, Sukhwinder Singh, Udit Narayan and Bollywood’s Shahenshah himself – Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Hema Malini in lead roles. Aman Verma, Samir Soni, Saahil Chadha and Nasir Khan portray Bachchan and Malini's four sons. Mahima Chaudhry, Paresh Rawal, Rimi Sen and Lilette Dubey are featured in supporting roles. The movie tells the story of Raj Malhotra (Amitabh Bachchan), his wife Pooja (Hema Malini), and their four sons Ajay (Aman Verma), Sanjay (Samir Soni), Rohit (Saahil Chadda), and Karan (Nasir Kazi). The couple have provided their children with everything, often at the cost of Raj's and Pooja's own requirements. The Malhotras have an adopted son Alok (Salman Khan), who is in love with Arpita (Mahima Chaudhry). Alok was an orphan and Raj provided him with money and education, bringing him up as his own son. It stars Sunny Deol, Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan in leading roles. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan played the role of an obsessive lover. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Tanvi Azmi and Dalip Tahil. In this song Juhi Chawla and Sunny Deol are seen playing Holi and story goes like Kiran (Juhi Chawla), a college student, returning home to her brother Vijay (Anupam Kher) and his wife Poonam (Tanvi Azmi) for Holi celebrations and being obsessively stalked along the way by Rahul (Shahrukh Khan), her classmate who has a crush on her. Kiran's boyfriend Sunil (Sunny Deol) is a Navy Marine Commando officer, and is on a mission to free a child hostage from some terrorists on the high seas. Sunil saves the child hostage. Sunil's Captain Mehra (Dalip Tahil) is also the father of Rahul. Rahul tries to be friendly with Sunil in order to be closer to Kiran.

The song is sung by Udit Narayan, Jaspinder Narula, Udbhav, Manohar Shetty, Ishaan, Shweta Pandit, Sonali Bhatawdekar, Pritha Mazumdar, while the music for the film is scored by Jatin-Lalit and the lyrics are penned by Anand Bakshi. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in pivotal roles, along with six young debutantes. Aishwarya Rai appeared in flashbacks as Khan's lover. Karan becomes smitten with Kiran (Preeti Jhangiani), a girl he sees one night at a train station. All three know that if they're caught they'd be expelled, so they at first do not pursue their love interests.
08/11Do Me a Favor Let's Play Holi, Waqt – The Race Against Time
Do Me A Favour’ from the film from Priyanka Chopra – Akshay Kumar’s Waqt is an entertaining song, that is sung and composed by Anu Malik, while the lyrics are penned by Sameer. The film begins with Ishwarchand Thakur (Amitabh Bachchan) and Sumitra Thakur (Shefali Shah) are a married couple who run a toy factory together. They have a son named Aditya Thakur (Akshay Kumar) who does not have any interest in responsibility or what he wants to do in life. It gets even worse when he elopes with his girlfriend, Pooja (Priyanka Chopra), the daughter of Natu (Boman Irani). When Pooja gets pregnant, both Ishwar and Sumitra decide to make Aditya realise his responsibilities, as he will have to take care of his wife and child. They take drastic measures and throw Aditya out of the house along with Pooja. As a result, Aditya and Pooja live in a room at the back of the house in the garden. The force becomes so bad that Aditya begins to hate his father and they do not speak to each other for a long time. At the same time Aditya becomes aware of his role in life. The movie reaches its climax with Aditya welcoming children at his father's toy factory and playing with an alone, disabled boy like Ishwar did at the start of the film with his family there including his toddler Ishwar. The spirit of Ishwar touches Sumitra's flowers in her hair and it reminds her of the old times.
09/11Balam Pichkari – Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
One of the most popular songs from the film is ‘Balam Pichkari’ which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Shalmali Kholgade with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. This song also features Kalki Koeclin and Aditya Roy Kapur. In the film they go to Manali for trekking and while the trek comes to an end they hault at a place and play Holi. The story of the film goes like Naina Talwar (Deepika Padukone) is a shy and nerdy medical student. She studies constantly and always tops her classes, but she feels like an outcast due to her introverted nature. An encounter with an old classmate, Aditi Mehra (Kalki Koechlin), makes her realize that she wants more from life than high marks. Thus, she makes an impulsive decision to follow Aditi on a hiking trip into the Himalayas, up to Manali without informing anyone. During the hike, she renews her friendship with other former classmates, Kabir "Bunny" Thapar (Ranbir Kapoor) and Avinash "Avi" Arora (Aditya Roy Kapur). Kabir is a handsome charmer whose dream is to wander and discover the world. He does not plan to marry or settle down. He lives with his supporting father whom he loves very much, and his step-mother. During their trip, seeing Aditi's silent reactions to Avi's constant flirting with other girls, Kabir and Naina realize that she is secretly in love with Avi, but do not bring the matter to surface. The friends find out about Kabir and Naina and are overwhelmed. Aditi states that she always kind of knew about the sparks between them. They all wish each other a Happy New Year and the film ends with Kabir and Naina smiling and embracing each other.
10/11Badri ki Dulhaniya- Badrinath ki Dulhaniya
This song is the title track of the film. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer song was a hit as well. This song is sung by Dev Negi, Neha Kakkar and Monali Thakur while the rap is performed by Ikk. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi and lyrics penned by Shabbir Ahmed, Badrinath Ki Dulhania’s title track, will definitely make you put on your dancing shoes. Badrinath "Badri" Bansal (Varun Dhawan) is the younger son of a wealthy family in Jhansi. In a flashback, it is shown that Badri's elder brother, Aloknath "Alok" Bansal (Yash Sinha) was in love with a girl and was going to leave the family for her because their father disapproved, but decided against it after their father Ambarnath "Ambar" Bansal's (Rituraj Singh) first heart attack. Now Alok is married to Urmila Shukla (Swetha Basu Prasad) through an arranged marriage and she is not allowed to work despite being very intelligent and professionally trained, more than Alok himself. Alok is also depressed at having to leave his love and be forced into a marriage, so he spends a lot of time drinking. Badri fears the same fate for himself so when he sees Vaidehi Trivedi (Alia Bhatt) at a wedding supposedly being looked after by her father Mayank (Swanand Kirkire), he becomes obsessed with her and makes it his mission to marry her with Ambar's approval. In the epilogue, it is shown that Badri and Vaidehi maintain a long distance relationship while she finishes her training program in Singapore before moving back to India and starting her own flight attendant training center. Urmila gives birth to twins, one boy and girl, and it is shown that so far Ambar has been treating both of them equally. She also starts working in the family's car showroom with Alok and even gets her own cabin. Badri and Vaidehi promise not to collect any dowry for any of their children.
